If I had any skeleton in my cupboard, this govt would have silenced me - Bukola

Senate President Bukola Saraki has stated that the administration of President Buhari would have silenced him if he had any skeleton in his cupboard.

Saraki made this known when he paid a visit to the palace of the Olofa of Offa, Muftau Gbadamosi, on Sunday. According to Saraki, if not for God, he "will not be standing today."
He said:
" If I have skeleton in my cupboard, this government would have silenced me and forced me to drop the campaign. But for God and the support of the people I would not be standing today. They didn't want to honor our agreement. We all laboured and what they couldn't get in three times they got it and we demanded that they give to Kwara what we deserve."
Saraki added:
"APC leaders in Kwara can't access President Buhari for anything. They will first have to go and submit their request to Lagos and it is only when Lagos is satisfied with the request that it will be forwarded to Buhari who may or not do it."

If You Are To Advice This Die Hard Buhari’s Fan What Will You Say To Him?

While most Nigerians are struggling to survive, someone was ready to kill himself for the sake of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Re-election.

President Buhari’s campaign train moves to Niger and Pleateu State Yesterday, where a supporter was captured raising a banner Saying;
Buhari I will vote for you with my blood and i will die B/C of you. 4+4 Insha Allah
While looking at the fan, he doesn’t seems like someone the president has touched or has impact in his life.

Here Are Some Biggest Career Mistakes You Should Avoid Making This Year

The start of a new calendar year is a good time to reflect on the previous 12 months and devise a plan to improve things going forward.
Whether you experienced a few career mishaps last year or progressed as expected, it never hurts to strive to do better.
With that in mind, here are a few critical mistakes you should avoid this year at all costs.

1. Avoiding Risks

It’s not easy to step outside your comfort zone and put yourself in a position where you might fail. On the other hand, if you don’t take any risks on the job, you won’t know new things.
Next time a new idea comes to you, don’t ignore it. Rather, run with it and see where it leads. Even if it doesn’t work out, your boss will likely appreciate your ingenuity.

2. Not Continuing To Learn

It’s easy enough to coast at work when things are going smoothly. After all, why shake things up when your boss seems pleased with your performance? But if you don’t push yourself to keep learning and growing professionally, you’re likely to stunt your career growth and miss out on key opportunities to get promoted.
So figure out which areas you’re lacking knowledge in and take steps to bridge those gaps, whether it means signing up for courses, attending conferences and seminars, or enlisting the help of a mentor.

3. Getting Easily Confused, Agitated, Caught Off-Guard

It’s hard to keep your cool at work when deadlines loom and projects are dumped on you at the last minute. But if you don’t figure out a way to cope with job-related stress, you’re less likely to move forward at your company.

4. Neglecting Your Business Relationships

When it comes to furthering your career, the people you know are often just as important, if not more so, than the things you know.
Though you don’t have to visit everyone every now and then but, you should, at the very least, reach out to each person in your network every few months to check in–especially since you never know when those folks might have a solid job opportunity that’s perfect for you.

5. Allowing Yourself To Be Unhappy At Work

It’s an unfortunate fact that a large chunk of workers today are unhappy at their jobs. If you’ve taken steps to make your role better and nothing seems to be doing the trick, don’t resign yourself to another 12 months (or more) of misery. Instead, dust off your resume, reach out to your contacts, and seek out a job that you’ll find more fulfilling.
The longer you allow yourself to stay at a job that makes you miserable, the more your performance is likely to suffer, and that’s a good way to hurt your reputation and get yourself fired.

6. Not Asking For A Rise In Pay If You Think You Deserve One

Many people shy away from negotiating their salaries at work because they don’t want to come off as greedy or anger their managers. But you know what they say: If you don’t ask, you (often) don’t get.
Furthermore, if you approach that conversation the right way, you can pull it off in a manner that doesn’t damage your relationship with your boss. That means researching salary data so you’re able to present a reasonable number to your manager and going in prepared with a list of reasons why you deserve a boost.
The End!!!

Atiku gives reason for not participating in Presidential debate

Atiku Abubakar took to Twitter to give his reason for not participating in tonight's Presidential debate, alongside other Presidential candidates.
Atiku Abubakar who maintained that the debate and election is a referendum on the incumbent, added that he cannot challenge or question an administration when the man at the helm of affairs is not present to defend himself or his policies.
His tweets reads;
I arrived the Congress Hall of the Hilton venue of the #2019Debate. This debate and the election is a referendum on the incumbent.
We came here for a Presidential debate, not a candidacy debate, and I, Atiku Abubakar cannot challenge or question an administration where the man at the helm of the affairs of the nation is not present to defend himself or his policies. #2019Debate
Afterall, you cannot shave a man's head in his absence. I do not believe in attacking a man who is NOT here to defend himself.
As a leader and former vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, let me first apologise to all Nigerians, my fellow candidates and the moderator for the APC Presidential Candidate's absence in this debate. His non-appearance is a slight on ALL of us and our democracy.
With respect to my fellow candidates, Fela Durotoye, Oby Ezekwesili, Kingsley Moghalu & to moderator Mark Sugar & with apologies to Nigerians here & at home expecting an interesting debate, I regret I will not be able to go on with this debate due to President Buhari's absence.
I however challenge President Buhari to choose a date and time for a debate where he will be present and I will be there, hopefully with the other candidates as well. Thank you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Atiku Abubakar

BREAKING: Buhari Missing As Atiku Arrives Late For Presidential Debate

Muhammadu Buhari, the incumbent and presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is missing at the flagship 2019 presidential debate.

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP and the Buhari’s major challenger is late for the debate.
TheCable reports that Atiku made a last minute decision to boycott the debate, as advised by some members of his campaign council, seeing that his major challenger had shown signs that he will not be attending.
Some other members of his campaign team persuaded him to attend the debate, seeing it as an opportunity to market himself, and build a case against Buhari.
The former vice-president, who returned from the United States hours ago, tweeted that he will be attending the debate, which he termed a referendum on the incumbent.
“I arrived the Congress Hall of the Hilton venue of the #2019Debate. This debate and the election is a referendum on the incumbent,” Atiku tweeted.
The debate, which is hosted by Nigeria Elections Debate Group (NEDG) and the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) is currently ongoing at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
